and just so you don't think i'm not involved, this is my post about hair. haha. kinda silly, but awesome.
anyway, if you want a "pre 1990's" hair style, from the 20's onward, hit it up. with halloween approaching, i know there's gonna be a lot of flappers, pinups, rosie the riveters, etc., and i want you babes to get your hair perfect.

the massive, epic fic?
coming along well. haven't so much added new scenes as taken into account the notes my betas (thank you, babes, you ladies are amazing!) have made on things and sort of fleshed out the fic more...
word count so far: ~3,900
it's looking good so far.
i'm gonna try somthing here, and hope it doesn't blow up in my face. |

it makes me sick. seriously. 40 years after stonewall, 42 after the black cat tavern and there's STILL this shit happening? there's something bigger and far worse than just a stupid, senseless string of beatings and oppression going on in america today. are you going to be scared to be who you are? are you going to be afraid to hold your partner's hand? are you going to be punished for your love? it shouldn't matter who you love. all that matters is that you love as much as you can as long as you can, and that you're free to do it.
i'm not a lesbian. not gay, not bi. i don't believe in labeling love any more than as "love", and if i love you there's something i see in you worth announcing to the world that i'm loving. there's a part of me that still loves all my exes because there was something there i'd seen to love. i still love them all, guys, girls, even the one who hurt me most. i want to see her be able to do what she couldn't with me: be out and proud and not afraid of being "caught". being with the people that complete you isn't wrong. love is never wrong.
hate is never right.
just think about it for a moment or two when you get a chance, and really process what you'd feel if your safe haven was routinely shaken and invaded, if you were abused and disrupted for being the person you are. if your friends were at risk for being beaten, threatened, arrested, killed, just for being themselves. think about it and please, don't let hate ruin more lives.
